Burlap Coffee Bags

WHAT WERE THEY USED FOR?

These sacks were used to transport coffee beans from around the world to domestic coffee roasters. They are one-use bags and have been cut on one end to empty the contents. Now they’re available for a second life. All reclaimed materials are sold "As Is" with no express or implied warranty. Please read product descriptions before purchase as all sales are final.

WHAT LOGOS ARE ON THE BAGS?

Some of the insignias are from Guatemala, Sumatra, Brazil, Africa, Indonesia, Costa Rica, and Mexico to name a few. Some of them are blank. When ordering less than 10, you can choose which bags you like. For larger orders, you will get an assortment.

WHAT ARE THEIR DIMENSIONS? HOW MUCH CAN THEY HOLD?

They are approximately 40" long and 24" wide. They were filled with about 70 kilos of coffee so they are quite durable.

WHAT ELSE CAN THEY BE USED FOR?

Many people like to use them as multi-purpose sacks or bags, but they are also great for making handbags and purses, satchels, embroidering, upholstery fabric, wall coverings, clothing, throw pillows, retaining walls, lampshades, sack races, or whatever your creativity can dream up. Know of another repurpose idea for this reclaimed material? WHY BUY USED BURLAP INSTEAD OF NEW MATERIAL FROM A MANUFACTURER?

BUY LOCAL – You’ll support a small Utah company focused on making a difference, not a windfall.

BETTER VALUE – You’ll pay less than new, guaranteed!

HISTORY – These former coffee bags are authentic and make great conversation starters.

HELP THE ENVIRONMENT – This material would otherwise go to the landfill. Repurposing keeps our planet greener by eliminating landfill waste and the energy needed to make a new item with the same usefulness. Plus, they’re biodegradable!
