WHAT IS THE MATERIAL MADE OF?

Flooring planks are made of hard maple, while support beams are made of pine, with rubber supports.

IS THE MATERIAL WATERPROOF/DURABLE/FRAGILE/ETC?

The flooring has been finished to a high luster, and some pieces have painted lines or logos on them, but most will likely require refinishing.  Hard maple is very strong and resilient, so it's perfect for a variety of applications where durability is important.

WHAT SIZES DO YOU HAVE?

Most panels are approximately 4' x 6', although we do have some that are a bit larger.

WHAT CONDITION ARE THESE IN?

They are in excellent condition, with normal wear from use.  Some panels have a bit more damage than others from handling.

WHAT WERE THEY USED FOR?

This flooring was installed in a local high school gym, and was used for a variety of sports, including basketball, volleyball, and wrestling, as well as gym class, assemblies, etc.

WHAT ARE THE DIMENSIONS?

Each panel is approximately 4'x6'.  Each plank is about 2.25" wide and 1" thick.  Planks feature tongue-and-groove construction, for easy assembly and sturdiness.

HOW MUCH DO THESE WEIGH?

Each panel weighs approximately 125 lbs.

WHAT LOGOS ARE ON THEM?

Most panels are blank, but some feature logos from East High School in Salt Lake City, or general gym markings.

WHAT ELSE CAN THEY BE USED FOR?

Some have repurposed them for ballet and/or dance studios, but they are also great for making tables, chairs, walls, dividers, signs, or whatever your creativity can dream up. Know of another repurpose idea for this reclaimed material? Share it HERE
